Suzanne is perceptive to see beyond the objectives her client initially identifies. This enables her to help clients explore the root causes of their challenges. During coaching sessions, she will pick up on the smallest signal which suggests that what is being said is not the full picture. Without leading her clients during sessions, she enables those clients to make their own discoveries.
She is skilled in managing conflict and puts a lot of work into understanding the issues and the individuals involved. She is incredibly well prepared. Her approach is flexible and tailor-made. She laughs easily and encourages a lightness of touch, whilst taking the task in hand seriously.
Suzanne brings a capacity to uncover the unspoken. Her coaching style, intuitive perception of emotion, motivations and energy make her quite unique in my experience of coaches. She maintains the coaching role; strengthening the capital of the individual to make their own decisions whilst successfully intervening to offer observations that ultimately uncover powerful understanding of problems, solutions and opportunities.
A very holistic approach. Suzanne latches on very quickly and insight-fully to body language, tone of voice, the words that aren’t being said. solutions always come from you, not her but prompted by exactly the right questions or nudges. i never feel that i am being guided towards what Suzanne thinks is the right answer, which has not always been my experience with other coaches. she is equally as powerful with a group as with an individual.
Suzanne is able to create an environment and space where difficult conversations and challenge can occur without anyone leaving feeling negative. I believe this is critical to the success of any work of this nature – people often think or say they need help with strategic planning or change management, but stripping it back, the genuine barriers are often centred around communication and open dialogue.
Suzanne! She brings the warmth of her personality into the role, so that every member of the group feels encouraged to participate and take risks. She also brings a great deal of psychological self awareness and antennae for others’ issues that give a depth to her work.
An appreciation for her role at a critical time for me professionally (starting first CEO job) and personally. Sometimes she could be less self effacing about the value she adds.
Getting people to open up and be honest. Creating a trusting and non-threatening environment. Making people think about the real issues and questions they need to address.
I’ve much enjoyed working with Suzanne, first within a group setting at the Windsor Leadership Trust and then as a client for a very specific engagement. The awareness I developed in both settings has made a real difference to me, to my ability to lead our company and has helped me clarify my goals for the future.
Suzanne is extremely knowledgeable with a range of techniques and tools within the professional environment, she will understand a unique situation and will tailor her approach according to the team and the situation. Suzanne is insightful, professional, thoughtful and inspires confidence in those that she is working with as a mentor or as part of a team. She acknowledges everyone as a individual and works to resolve how those individuals can contribute towards the success of the team or the organisation. Suzanne can see the horizon and helps her clients to focus without finding it too overwhelming.
Suzanne challenges your thinking in a way that empowers you. She will ask the difficult questions in a way that is non-threatening whilst also being forceful. She holds you to account in a subtle way that drives you to take ownership of your own learning agenda. Having had 3 well respected coaches at different times of my career, Suzanne was certainly for me the best to work with in that she 1) Always delivered on her part of the bargain, be that sending support materials, feedback, follow up etc 2) Allowed me to discover what I had to do with no “advice” giving, though she gave great advice when asked to do so 3) Total focus and attentive at all sessions – one felt slightly grilled but very happy and motivated upon leaving a session.
Integrity coupled with warmth which enables her to challenge thinking without being confrontational. Judges when to draw on models/ published thinking etc but only uses these when they are really relevant to the conversation (or perhaps has realised that I don’t naturally work well with models and therefore uses them sparingly). Consistently makes me responsible for my thinking/actions – a genuine coaching relationship which never drifts into a ‘tell you the answer’ mode.
If you really want to get underneath the “human” issues that are holding back performance then you need Suzanne. This wont be about workshops trying to decide on a series of actions; it will be about helping you and your team to work out what each of you can do to be the most effective leaders of your people. expect to come out of it with a much deeper understanding of what’s holding you back and how you can break through those barriers.
She quickly creates trust and intimacy She doesn’t let anyone off the hook.
The interest she takes.
Her ability to challenge me in ways I can respond to, which fits in with firstly my personality and/or learning style and secondly my timeframes and hectic schedule.
Tailoring her techniques to the client – thus achieving results. Providing new and topic related resources. Being true to her ethos in her work.
I like the way she follows through but without it feeling as if she is trying to get more work! Everyone wanted to work with her again because they got so much out of it.
Suzanne is warm, empathic and is able to bridge personality styles to enable people of a wide range of cultures and outlooks to engage successfully in the work she offers.
Suzanne is able to make everyone who she works with feel like they are highly respected by her and that they add value to their organisation and the people they work with.
– she brings a wealth and depth of experience.
– she creates a calm environment in any situation.
Very enjoyable experience
Can be challenging but that is what you want from a coaching service.
She’s a tough cookie and will cope with any group dynamics. She’ll get the best out of people and help them to develop.
She will provide a skillful balance of challenge and support, with a strong focus on achieving the agreed outcomes of the coaching process.
Suzanne is exceptional on the above four levels: Conversations with her feel safe with minimal risk of blowing up or making the situation worse. She communicates with great empathy and is expert in leading people to a new state of self awareness. She uses conceptual frameworks to good effect but unlike other consultants or coaches she doesn’t push them or try to shoe horn you into one favoured framework.
Having had first hand experience of Suzanne’s work, I would tell them that I found it to be transformational. Working with Suzanne has helped me reach much needed clarity in terms of what I want to achieve, and a road map as to how I can achieve it. It has helped me to break down some limiting beliefs that were holding me back, and has given me greater focus to overcome those beliefs.
Suzanne has inspired me with the confidence in my own abilities as a manager and has helped me enormously within the past year, professionally and personally. She has helped me to develop my own skills, offered me new techniques and helped me to focus on the task in hand. Suzanne has been the most amazing mentor and facilitator and has helped my team to become more focused on their roles and build their confidence in their contribution towards the institution.
Her perceptiveness – she often saw things that I was slow to pick up in myself Her questioning – a great coach will ask the killer questions and she did this extremely well The atmosphere she creates in a session – challenging, focused, fascinating, fun, a great learning environment.
Hugely client centred – this may sound strange but having met many coaches and having had some coaching experience being coached and coaching others, Suzanne is way ahead in coming across as totally dedicated to the development of the client. She has no agenda other than the clients growth, a rare quality that encourages in my case the client to open up and get maximum value.
Not only does suzanne listen at a deeply reflective level, she has a great gift for providing feedback in a non judgemental way, as well as volunteering often valuable and insightful thoughts. In addition she is always keen to learn of new resources and not only researches them, but builds them into her repertoire. She epitomises what i would call a role model for continuous learning.
She brings solutions and results that are very client focused in a way that is extremely engaging. She has a wide range of business experience on which she has built a strong foundation. In addition her depth of coaching training means that she has a breadth of techniques to suit many coaching scenarios.
Capacity to create time and space to think, reflect and act whilst maintaining pace and energy.
Suzanne will get to the heart of any blockages of progress in you or your organizations people. She enables the forensic examination of a problem whilst maintaining the value and worth of the individuals she is working with. Suzanne can also facilitate the types of conversation that enable higher level vision and strategy that can really put the energy behind planning and development processes to achieve much more than expected.
I know if that was the description being used many people would be put off. I know that I (and the other people Suzanne worked with in our leadership group) all came away with a much stronger sense of their capability and a much greater belief in the decisions and choices they wanted to make. Suzanne has a quite profound impact on those she supports.
She will get you results
She will understand your circumstances however complex.
As well as the above, obvious skill in terms of how to contract with a group and work at the pace they are comfortable with. And a willingness to challenge in a warm hearted way to move individuals and the group along.
Thank you for helping me make a tricky and successful transition.
Because Suzanne will help you understand yourself and your colleagues better and identify barriers to progress in your organisation.
I’ve noticed that Suzanne establishes rapport and trust with people extremely quickly which lead to a willingness on their part to explore with her feelings and motivations at a deep level. This creates the foundation for very powerful and revealing conversations.
Being able to understand where I’m coming from, being able to suggest subtly or blunty (depending on what’s needed) things that may benefit me.
She’s easy to talk to as she genuinely cares about the person as opposed to the time limit or fee being paid to her. I get the sense she goes above and beyond what she is paid for in the interest of me (her client).
I would always recommend to follow an intuitional choice when you choose a professional coach. If this will be Suzanne who you get in, you will have a chance to explore areas you have never looked into before, you will be able to continue the journey which is colorful, sometimes painful but proves to be very important and productive, you will know yourself better and under some new perspectives and will get an understanding that sometimes things are not what we thought they were, but can have different angles. It is a journey to better resourcefulness and true understanding of choices. So if you would like to experience this and more this is the answer why you should get Suzanne in.
You will get results You will grow in confidence You will enjoy the experience You will get value for money if you are clear on desired outcomes and throw yourself into it.
Suzanne has a tremendous ability to build a trusted relationship, enabling her to ask penetrating questions and challenge me to move out of my comfort zone. I do feel genuinely supported as well as challenged. She also keeps sight of the benefit to the organisation of her work, and is focused on the three way relationship between organisation, individual client and coach.
