Inviting you to our Coaches Working Retreat

30th & 31st January 2020

Our commitment to developing our profession includes time to Reflect, Refine & Recharge

Our commitment to developing our profession includes time to Reflect, Refine & Recharge

Come to a 2 day working retreat to reflect, refine and recharge. We will be:

  • Reflecting and integrating the learning from your client relationships over the last 12 months
  • Refining our reflections through a systemic lens in support of personal and organisational growth
  • Recharging your practice for the year ahead.

Engaging in reflective practice, dialogue and collaborative learning for the development and benefit of your coaching, you will be eligible for 12 Resource Development CCEUs*.

You can list 4 of these in your own ICF credential renewal towards the 10 hours of Coaching Supervision eligible as Core Competency CCEUs.

* Continued Coach Education Units.

Reflect

Our 2 days together will provide a forum for reflective practice on your work as a professional coach, drawing out the learning and how you want to apply that learning for the year ahead. Our focus will be on your personal and professional development in service of you, your clients and the wider organisational system.

Refine

Our active reflection offers space to continue refining your internal processes and creates greater awareness of strengths and blind spots for you and your clients. We will use psychological frameworks from Transactional Analysis to reflect on your experiences. We will also use Systemic principles to integrate those experiences to refine growth for the year ahead.

Recharge

Recharging yourself and your practice is a core ingredient of resourcing ensuring we, as a profession are fit for purpose for clients and the organisations we serve.  Suzanne and Wendy will bring their skills and experience as Systemic Practitioners to support you as you take care of yourself as a professional for the year ahead.

Who is this for?

Coaches working organisationally will find this of most benefit. You may be working 1:1 and/or working with groups and teams, you may be an internal coach, working for a coaching company as an associate or be running your own business and practice. This retreat is planned with you all in mind. In your application form, do tell us a little about your practice (just as examples: the kind of coaching you do, current credential, supervision arrangements, type of organisation) hopes and fears for the year ahead. This will help us tailor the programme for you on the day.

What to expect

This is an experiential 2 days focussed on you and your practice as an organisational coach.  A brief online questionnaire (3 questions only!) is the beginning of your reflection.

On both days, we will use frameworks from Transactional Analysis, Somatic Practice, and Systemic Constellations.  The learning will be experiential enabling you to have a felt sense and embody these frameworks more deeply into your practice. No prior knowledge of these frameworks is needed for you to benefit from the retreat.

No other reading or pre-work is required. We will send joining instructions 4 weeks prior to the event but all the details for booking are on the website now. Come ready to reflect, refine and recharge!

Our focus for Day 1 – Reflecting on the previous 12 months

We will focus on your experiences and learning as a coach over the last 12 months, integrating the successes, challenges and opportunities you have had during the year. We will look at our stance as coaches, what you want to take with you from these 12 months and what you might want to leave behind.

Our focus for Day 2 – Envisioning your next 12 months

We will be focussing on the 12 months ahead enabling you to refine your focus and plan for your year ahead as a coach.
